The Sonodrum steel tongue drum can be played with the included mallets or simply with your fingers . In both cases, a pleasantly clear , bell-like sound is produced. Playing with your fingers produces a somewhat warmer and more organic sound, while playing with mallets produces a somewhat louder and more static sound.

Thanks to precise laser-cutting technology, the eight steel reeds sound clear, loud, and very clean, without producing any unpleasant noise. The eight reeds are labeled with the numbers 1 to 8, allowing you to play more complex sequences quickly and easily .
